This page explains how NewStory Church handles your information when you sign up for Teach Us to Pray text messages. It works alongside our general website privacy policy at newstorychurch.com/privacy.
What we collect
When you text PRAY to (213) 556-0591, we receive your mobile phone number. That’s all. We don’t ask for your name, email, or any other details to send you prayer prompts.
How we use it
Your number is used only to send you Teach Us to Pray prayer prompts and to reply to messages you send us, like HELP or STOP.
What we never do
We never sell, rent, or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
Message program details
- Program: Teach Us to Pray daily prayer prompts from NewStory Church.
- Frequency: One message a day, Monday through Saturday, October 19 – November 28, 2026, plus occasional confirmation replies.
- Cost: Message and data rates may apply. NewStory Church never charges for this program.
- Opt out: Reply STOP at any time. You’ll receive one confirmation text and no further messages.
- Help: Reply HELP, or email online@newstorychurch.com.
- Carriers: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Our texting provider
Messages are sent through Clearstream, a church texting service that processes your number only to deliver these messages on our behalf.
